PHP Comment or Guestbook Script
In newer browser (at least firefox) versions there occured a bug in the script concerning the link to a new entry in the info mail for the admin. To solve this, the '&' in the email link, that was written in the 'entity mode', had to be replaced with a pure, single, one-character '&' (don't get confused: in the source code of the text you are just reading, the wysiwyg editor will replace the pure '&' with the '&' written in the entity mode again...;)
The free, open source w3easy comment script written in PHP appends a comment functionality to any page of your site that you want to comprehend one. It automatically detects from which page a comment is submitted and allocates the comment to the respective page. If installed properly and if your pages use a common template like the w3easyCMS pages do, you can activate it by writing just one word in the page settings.
As it is our philosophy, the comment script is a standalone module and can be put in any php supported website that accepts external scripts. You can even use the script as guestbook.
After implementing some additional features like language files, different homepage link attributes or the option to display or hide comments by default and especially since the installation is done in a few simple, well documented steps, there shouldn't be that much left you might crave for...
- Use as comment module or as guestbook
- Edit entries and configuration online
- Review comments before they are published (optional)
- Get informed about new submissions by mail (optional)
- Set maximal number of comments
- Set maximal number of entries per session
- Allow or disallow website submission
- No database required
Set default link attributes (optional):
- English and German language files (new)
- Easy to customize with CSS
- Detailed guide for easy installation (new)
- Set display order (fifo or lifo)
- Display or hide comments by default
The maximal number of Comments was reached....

this is very good!
Download = Get it:
[not an encouraging result for a 3 hours research a real programmer should do before asking any question... ;)]
wo ist der Download?
This is a test comment, test 123
just a test...
testing the comments
Nur ein Täst.
Yep, finding that download link is real fun... Not a good way to get the software out there. The 'get it' link on top, page, has a link just under the list of software for the download page.

Lately there were 2 more websites based on the w3easyCMS, that I built up and published: my personal weblog neuland and a website about the legend of Al Maree with a TV program of it's own ;).
w3easy against War Propaganda in German Media
I am not a poltician, but in these times of war hysteria and propaganda I feel the urge to put it straight, that I condemn strongly war propaganda in German media and aggressive actions or speeches of German politicans. I am quite sure, that I share this opinion with many civilists in my country.
